This course aims to teach you to advance your TRX Suspension Training knowledge and blends the abilities of the TRX Suspension Trainer to enhance mobility, stability and strength with yoga inspired movements that will leave your clients standing taller with greater posture and feeling up-lifted and empowered! Infuse your Yoga practice with a fresh evolution of movement by using the TRX Suspension Trainer to assist or challenge your traditional postures.
“TRX for Yoga” is a professional education course designed to fuse two of the most popular and effective disciplines in the fitness industry today - Suspension Training and Yoga. The course provides fitness professionals the education to perform and lead full-blown “TRX Yoga Flow for Yoga” classes to increase strength and flexibility while allowing for scalability throughout different yoga poses. It also allows instructors to incorporate modules of “TRX for Yoga” into their existing yoga class making for an ideal way to merge TRX and Yoga.
Both Suspension Training and Yoga have experienced tremendous growth over the last ten years. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Heath (NIH), the number of Americans practicing yoga has doubled to 21 million in just the last decade. Furthermore, 2,800 health and fitness professionals from American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) predicted their top 20 fitness trends of 2016 in its 10th Annual Survey where of the top five trends; TRX fell under three of them.“Combining Suspension Training with Yoga is further testimony to the incredible versatility and efficacy of the TRX Suspension Trainer,” said Chris Frankel, TRX Head of Human Performance. “It’s exciting to develop a totally fresh take on a traditional discipline that’s been practiced for thousands of years. The “TRX for Yoga” digital education course includes detailed instructional videos, a follow-along workbook, and precise benchmarks to gauge comprehension to prepare for the final test to become a certified instructor. Upon completion of the course, fitness professionals will be well versed in the benefits of the program while being able to properly perform and instruct yoga sequences using the TRX Suspension Trainer.

This is a self-paced course broken up into seven 5-30 min different sections. Most sections includes a quiz at the end, you will be required to complete each quiz and earn a score of 80% or higher to move on to the next section. But not to worry, you will have the opportunity to redo the quiz to ensure you have the correct knowledge to move on.
Keeping in mind to be successful with this programming, the practical component is key- one will require many hours of hands on practice, peer and self-evaluations of the content delivered. Some prior education and experience with TRX Training is assumed. As you progress through the course, each section is accompanied by a video and a downloadable and printable corresponding workbook document. This course workbook pages are intended to be a follow along and supplement to the video content to help you challenge your understanding as you progress through the course, and prepare you for the section quizzes. As well the final exam at the end of the course.
